Yesterday was a super sunday! Serving in playgroup in the morning, follow by attending church-wide prayer meeting and then serving support for children church again for annual general meeting. Thank God for giving me the ability to listen. hehe. Some of my ministry members share their problems with me. I am blessed to have hear their story. I learned from their experience and at the same times, i can be an encourager to them. Yea. Thank God I am on leave today! I am able to sleep more. Thank God for giving me rest and strength. Actually the purpose of my leave today is to spend more time with my family. We haven't been going out for the longest time. And most importantly is to celebrate my nephew's birthday which is on 27Oct,sat. He is now 6years old. He is really growing up! I take care of him while he is still a baby. He is really my inspiration that started my passion in loving kids and a dream of opening a pre-school one day! Ya, We went to the wild wild wet. We have fun. I love my Ignatius! This week is going to be a great week! Building fund weekend!! Getting ready for what God has instored! I really want to prepare my heart to give to God. I believe for greater breakthrough in my life, family, career, finances and many other things! I miss the babies in school! Going back to work tomorrow. Gotta be a STAR THROWER! =p

DOING
Quote - ' For with God nothing is impossible' - Luke 1:37

If you only do what you can do then you're only ever going to do what you can do!
But, if you start to do what you cannot do, you'll find you can do what you cannot do.
And what you absolutely cannot do, God will do, or a team of incredible poeple will, who are attracted to the person attempting to do what they cannot do.
Don't imagine God will ask you to do what you can do!
He asks you to do what you can't do.
Then you'll need Him to do it!
But you're the one who starts the impossible dream.
No-one, not even God, gets inpsired by the mediocre.
Attempt the impossible, ignore the critics, attract the best, accomplish the unbelievable!

LISTS
Quote - ' Write the vision, make it plain....' Habakkuk 2:2

Understand the power of a list.

Write down lists regarding everything you lead and manage.
Write lists of those things you need to do, then do them, one by one.
Write down the list of follow-up things you need to do.
Put the most important at the top.
Do first things first, last things last.
Write down your vision list - for this year, for the next 10 years, for your life.
Write down your goals for today, this week, this year.
Write down your plans and strategies.
Tick them off as you do them.
Simple, but amazingly powerful!

MOTIVATION
Quote - ' People often say that motivation doesn't last. Well, neither does bathing; that's why we recommend it daily.' - Zig Ziglar

Getting motivated is essential.
From the inside, the outside, from wherever.
'Why sit here till we die', say the four lepers in the Biblical record as they sit outside the besieged city of Samaria.
If we sit forever, we will sit till we die.
Being motivated is not just being inspired though.
Motivation goes to work.
If motivation doesn't result in action it is futile.
Embrace work as your best friend.
As you go to work the motivation increases.
Accept work as your life. Accept life as work.
Not obsessive work without rest; not activity without productivity, but work that is paced, purposeful and productive.
The dreams of a lazy man will kill him.
Renounce laziness; embrace industry. Go for it!
Do something!

I am always inspired by those words Pastor Phil shared in Leadership files. His words really speak to me personally. Today while I was on my way to work, God spoke about Feeding and Clothing the little ones under my care. God reminded me of the verses in Matthew 25:31-46:
31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy[c] angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’ 41 “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; 43 I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
44 “Then they also will answer Him,[d] saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ 46 And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Pastor Kong shared about this during last weekend service. Indeed I am called to feed and clothe the little ones. I am not just going to work to earn a living. But I am called to a mission. That is to feed and clothe the little children. I am more motivated. I gonna embrace work as my best friend. Therefore I got to embrace the mission I have, to feed and clothe the little ones! Thank God for placing me right now in the infant care. Things doesn't seem to be right from the start in my perspective. But I am now looking at it in God's perspective! Whatever things God does, there must be a reason! I am glad that I obey God! There are more things that God has prepared and installed for me. I was really jumping with joy when Pastor Kong announced that we gonna open a pre-school and kindergarten in church. When I was thinking of working in a pre-school center in singapore churches and wonder how come there wasn't one in our church. My dream come true. God's timing is always right! God will make a way when there is no way! I am just so excited. I will look forward to it next year. Wishing that Sis Ting or Pastor Eileen can be my boss. Haha. In the meanwhile, I got to focus on the infant and try to learn the best I can from my fellow colleagues and my boss. Hee. God is GOOD!!!!

BE BRIGHT
Quote - ' Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.' - Isaiah 60:1

Be bright when you meet people.
It may be the only time you ever meet that person.
Make people feel great.
What an incredible opportunity we have every time we meet someone.
Be sunlight to them.
You will affect their whole day.
They will remember you as a bright, encouraging, positive person.
They will carry a good report about you everywhere.

Leadership file by Pastor Phil Pringle.

I am so inspired by what Pastor Phil shared here. It is true sometimes that we only meet that person for once. Thus we got to make people feel great whenever we meet different people. Smile and be happy my friends! It just take a little smile. =p

Happy Children's Day!
There's no holiday today! Haha. My school holds a concert today for all the children from infants to toddlers to Nursery and to Kindergarten. It's such a joy to see the children dancing along to the music. Especially my kids, i'm so proud of Jaeger. He look like a young professional dancer. He can dance pretty well. All the teachers, parents and the children enjoyed the concert. I like concert! I do wish to hold concerts for my children in the future when I have my own school. Hehe.

Jaeger! He is so lovable. =p

Yi Hui and Jaeger. So sweet. Hehe.
